Welcome!
Welcome to the new home of Expect to Sleep Again Sleep Consulting! As I celebrate 9 years in business, I am thrilled to get back to my roots and embrace my original brand once again.
People often ask how I came up with my business name, and it’s really quite simple! After working with my own sleep consultant in 2015, I joined the sleep training board on the What to Expect app. I had become obsessed with helping others with their baby’s sleep and grew a bit of a following. Things got a bit out of hand in the app (as they often do!), so I invited my sleep deprived mom tribe to a Facebook group. Because we were coming from the What to Expect app, I named my group Expect to Sleep Again.
In February 2016, after getting my sleep consulting certification, I launched my business to help exhausted parents find their way back to restful nights. I was so nervous at the launch that I even misspelled my first website address!
My small business grew beyond my expectations. By early 2019, I hired my first two sleep consultants to help with client demand. That September, I launched Dream School Consultant Training, eventually training over 30 moms as sleep consultants. My team grew to nearly 20 consultants, serving clients worldwide.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I was offered a chance to merge my company into a larger business venture. As an entrepreneur, I took the risk. Though things didn't work out as planned by 2023, I'm proud that during that time we trained 30+ consultants, managed a large team, and helped hundreds of families globally. I also connected with my dear friend Dr. Craig Canapari, pediatric pulmonologist, director of the Yale Pediatric Sleep Center, and author of It’s Never Too Late to Sleep Train.
After stepping away to recharge, I reflected on my journey since 2016. This break helped me reconnect with my core mission: providing families with evidence-based, personalized sleep solutions. I strengthened my commitment to helping parents separate sleep myths from scientific facts. Along that vein, I also started a podcast with Dr. Canapari called The Sleep Edit, where we give you the best, evidence-based information you need so everyone in your home can sleep better. Most importantly, I embraced my ability to run a business dedicated to providing each client the quality care they deserve.
Now in 2025, I'm excited to offer you this resource. Whether you need sleep consulting services or want to discuss your child's sleep challenges, I'm here to help. I look forward to rebuilding a supportive community for both clients and sleep consultants alike. Stay tuned…
Here's to 9 years of helping families sleep better!
Much love,
Arielle
